Custom Luger slide and toggle train modified by master gunsmith John Martz for use with the 9x23mm Super cartridge. Receiver is stamped "1986" over the chamber. Metal components are polished in-the-white. Upper assembly is mounted on a wood stand with a small sign that reads "JOHN V. MARTZ/ EXPERIMENTAL LUGER / LONG SLIDE / ONE OF A KIND 9MM SUPER PISTOL". CONDITION: Excellent overall. Bright bore, exhibiting mild pitting and strong rifling throughout.
