Jimmy Lile is nothing short of a legend in the knifemaking community, making the original knives in both Rambo: First Blood and Rambo: First Blood II: The Mission. Both of these knives were made by Lile in collaboration with Sylvester Stallone. In addition to these 2 legendary knives, Lile was well known before for his quality craftsmanship and has been inducted into the Blade Magazine Cutlery Hall of Fame in 1984 and the ABS Bladesmithing Hall of Fame in 1999. Offered here is a 2-knife matching set built by Lile and engraved by James Stewart. (A) 3 - 1/2" drop point blade maker marked on the ricasso. Grips are engraved with floral scroll on a punchdot background with a mammoth ivory panel in the center. CONDITION: Excellent+, and near mint, with blade bright and no major signs of distress to grips. Mechanically fine as blade locks tightly when extended.
