Lot consists of 2 very scarce Daisy BB rifles made by Daisy Manufacturing Company, Plymouth, Michigan circa the 1930s. (A) is a Red Ryder lever action with blued finish and saddle ring, rare scope with rubber eyepiece, and walnut "RED RYDER" marked board stock. (B) is a rare Model 40 military rifle with blued metal, military-style hardwood stock, original canvas sling, and rare bayonet. PROVENANCE: Richard "Dick" Burdick Collection. CONDITION: Overall good with 80% original fading blue and light pitting with 70% remaining wood finish with light scratches, dings, and play wear. Crisp mechanics; appear to operate well. A lot for the serious BB rifle collector.
