Lot consists of 3 Bridgeport 50 round drums with "U" proofmark, 2 unmarked 50 round drums with "50 cartridges cal .45 wind to 9 clicks" as the only markings on the body of the drum, 4 white web with "U.S." stencil 50 round drum carriers, 1 green canvas and leather Thompson sub machine gun cover with stenciled letters and number, "D 50268", 1 brass cleaning rod 16 - 3/8" from long tip to furthest end of handle, 1 20 round Bridgeport marked magazine, 1 green canvas G.I. 30 round magazine carrier, 1 Kerr sling, 1 original horizontal forend, 1 original wood pistol grip, 2 reproduction vertical forends with attachment bolts, 1 gray painted lower assembly, serial number 117964, with no markings at selector switch, 1 unmarked 1928 actuator with brass Blish lock, 1 "S" (Savage) marked bolt with firing pin, 1 small tin box of small parts including trigger, safety, selector, "AOC" marked front sight, sear, extractor, trip, disconnector, 8 small coil springs of various sizes, and several small screws. CONDITION: All are in extremely fine serviceable condition. Bolt has brown patina discoloration akin to casehardening. 1 Bridgeport drum has loss of finish to gray/brown patina, and the other Bridgeport drums are refinished. The unmarked contemporary drums have a deep lustrous blue finish. A wonderful assortment of parts and accessories for the Thompson machine gun enthusiast. JWK 2023-9-57
