Circa 1995 per KF date code. Barrel set (A) is a 30" set of mono-bloc over/under barrels with a white plastic front sight and steel mid bead on a broadway vent rib with wire cut ports for recoil reduction towards muzzle. Typical Krieghoff legends, modern German nitro proofs for 12 gauge, 2 - 3/4" chambers, with a nominal IBD of 18.6 in each barrel. Import marked on under barrel for Krieghoff International, Ottsville. Barrel set (B) is a single barrel monobloc trap set in identical configuration and specifications. Competiton forearm with relieved area across top for fingers, checkering in a point pattern about a Deeley style latch release, and engraved with light border florals at exterior iron. Interior iron stamped with matching serial number. Iconic nickel finished K-80 action with sliding hood, engraved in semi-relief on the left side with a flock of ducks in a marsh scene, right with an eagle descending on a bass, mid-leap out of a creek in a forested scene, and Krieghoff's shield on bottom; accenting scroll throughout. Single selective mechanical trigger and non-automatic safety. Stock on a nicely figured walnut with grain reminiscent of windswept dunes has sidepanels, a pronounced pistol grip with dual palm swell and checkered in 2 panels about the wrist with mullered borders; cast slightly off for a right handed shooter. Slight Monte Carlo. Kick-Eez recoil pad. Housed in a blue lined Americase with Krieghoff stock tool and 10 chokes: 2x 0s, 2x 1s, 1x 2, 2x 3s, 2x 4s, 1x 5. CONDITION: Excellent, showing light evidence of range use. Barrels retain virtually all of their black with some minor handling marks and superficial scratches, mostly about the barrel lugs from assembly/disassembly. Action excellent with some very minor handling marks; very close if not NOS. Stock excellent with a collection of random dings and impressions at the toe, scattered superficial scratches en suite. Mechanically fine, ejectors are in time, bores are very good with some mild firing residue. The K-80 is a highly respected clays gun, and this example is ready for the range.
