The Commendation Medal is a US military decoration presented for sustained acts of heroism or meritorious service. Each branch of the United States Armed Forces issues its own version of the Commendation Medal, and this lot consists of a large amount of US Army and US Air Force Commendation Medals. Most are unengraved, however, most of the cased examples are officially engraved and named to soldiers. There is also a large number of ribbons and lapel pins for each award. The medals exhibit a nice patina with varying degrees of wear. CONDITION: Good-very good.
