Lot consists of: (A) Set of 3rd Pattern OG-107 Jungle Fatigues with Special Forces SSI, American and South Vietnamese jump wings, named to a Captain McAviney. Spec tag removed in jacket. The set includes the ripstop jacket and pants, along with a green beret with captain's bars. Fatigues exhibit light wear but are clean with very nice insignia. The set was displayed with M1956 suspenders which feature a full gear setup. Leather holster is marked "Graton & Knight Co." and dated 1943. The name "R.H. Long" is written above the embossed US oval. Gear exhibits scattered wear and blemishes typical of old equipment. CONDITION: Very good. (B) Set of Class II ERDL fatigues, including a jacket and pants. The jacket features great insignia with Special Forces and 1st Cavalry with Airborne tab SSI. The jacket features both American and South Vietnamese jump wings and is named to 2nd Lieutenant Bowman. Nice 8th Cavalry Regiment patch on pocket. A pair of theater-modified camouflaged leggings comes with the set, which was displayed with a set of web gear which includes a desirable Gerber knife. The blade exhibits pitting and is marked "GERBER / PORTLAND, ORE. USA" and numbered "044158", housed in a Gerber-marked leather scabbard. The set is complete with a pair of jungle boots and a green beret with 2nd Lt. rank. There is also a second pistol belt which was displayed together, all is presumably Lt. Bowman's. Fatigues exhibit wear, field gear shows scattered blemishes from wear and use. Clean, but with expected blemishes. CONDITION: Good. (C) Vietnam War Green Beret dress uniform named to Trimmer including a highly decorated jacket, trousers, green beret, shirt, tie, and boots. The uniform is clean overall with evidence of light wear and scattered blemishes. CONDITION: Very good.
