Lot consists of: (A) World War II front seam fixed bale helmet with dark blue navy camouflage and "CAPT" rank on reverse. Heat stamp is obscured. Early khaki chinstraps intact. The name "SCHAMP" is written on the interior. The helmet retains most of its era applied blue paint with scattered scuffs and chips. Interior rim exhibits rust. The helmet is complete with a Westinghouse marked liner that exhibits matching blue paint. Missing leather chinstrap. Interior hardware is intact with obvious wear and cracking sweatband. Nice paint with scattered blemishes. CONDITION: Good. (B) WWII front seam swivel bale helmet that was reissued in the Post-WWII era. Heat stamp is obscured. Cold War chinstraps are intact. Dark green repaint which was most likely applied during the Cold War. Scattered blemishes including scuffs and scratches. The helmet is complete with a Westinghouse marked liner. "MICARTA 1953" label is retained inside. Intact webbing with remnants of a name tape. Missing leather chinstrap. Nice paint with scattered blemishes. CONDITION: Good.
