Third Reich NSKK (National Socialist Motor Corps) leader tunic with breeches and leather cross strap. Brown cotton twill "Brown Shirt" style of uniform with a maker tag sewn into the collar and marked "5872 41 0751", with a NSDAP armband "tacked on" with 4 stitches on the left sleeve. Officer shoulder strap with orange-brown ("Sudwest" district) piping/ base is attached via a button with a "1" on it. A collar tab with a single officer gold pip ("Scharfuehrer" or squad leader) is on the left side, and a collar tab marked "16/ M40" ("Motorsturm" or company "16", "Motorstandarte" or regiment "40") is on the right side: both are loosely hand-applied, and appear to have been done postwar. On the lower left sleeve is a loosely hand-applied flatwire driver sleeve diamond. Collar has early rayon black cord piping. Nine large nickel-plated steel buttons are correctly applied to the front, pockets, and cuffs. Six 6 brass belt support hooks are attached to the waist. Two 1935-dated tinnies are pinned to the uniform. Also included are a pair of unmarked black wool officer breeches. Both tunic and breeches have light wear with no noticeable damage. Lot also includes an unmarked dark brown leather cross strap with nickel-plated steel fittings and 2 "D-rings" (1 is military, the other political). CONDITION: Overall excellent. WEZ
