Made by Winchester Repeating Arms Company in 1951. Blued 24" plain Standard weight round factory Winchester Proof steel barrel with Winchester address, hooded ramp front sight, and 22G rear sight. Blued finish receiver with matching bolt and plain trigger. Standard checkered walnut low comb stock with checkered blued steel buttplate. Comes in the original shipping box, correctly matching the gun, with the correct cardboard inserts and Model 70 Pamphlet but with no paperwork. CONDITION: 98% bright barrel blue with 98% remaining action finish and 98% bolt finish with light assembly wear. 98% varnish. Sharp checkering and storage marks. Good bore with visible rifling; crisp mechanics. Box has been written on with crayon, and labels are visible but torn. Gun is possibly unfired.
