SST. Sign is marked, "1915 The Marathon Tire & Rubber Co.". Rare and well displaying C. 1910's Tin Sign for Marathon Tires showing excellent Car graphic with added period style wooden frame. CONDITION: Sign is overall fair showing older varnish throughout the entire piece which has aged to brown over the years. Sign shows some areas of surface scratching in the field as well as added nail holes at the top and bottom edge. Sign is mounted in a period style wooden frame which displays the piece very well. Although worn the piece displays well and is a rare and significantly early piece of Tire advertising.
