American Weight Driven Clock made by Daniel Pratt Jr (1797-1874). It has a hand-painted gold gilt face with its original hands and a wonderful reverse- painted tablet. This tablet depicts what looks like a large colonial church. CONDITION: Mahogany case and turned columns are in original finish. Original painted wood face with correct hands. Showing moderate wear from age and use. Partial label on the interior. Very early American-made shelf clock.
