German World War II Luftwaffe M35 double decal helmet marked "ET64" for the maker of "Eisenhüttenwerk Thale / Harz" and in the shell size of "64", with a lot number of "3779". Shell retains 50-55% of its smooth blue-gray paint, with heavy freckling, scrapes, and scattered marks. Interior retains approximately 50% of its smooth finish with heavy freckling, and you can see where the dome stamp was removed. Luftwaffe eagle decal is approximately 50%, with wear and damage. Tri-color national decal is 75-80%, with stains, scrapes, and damage. Original early aluminum liner band and 3 rivets are undisturbed, and there was no attempt to find the date. Medium brown liner has heavy staining, medium wear, seam on rear is separated, all tongues are present, with no visible size stamp. Original liner drawstring is present. Original early Luftwaffe chinstrap, with a "LBA" stamp, aluminum fittings, with moderate wear, is attached. CONDITION: Overall good to very good to excellent.
