Originally manufactured in standard configuration, and then subsequently altered to percussion in the 1830s-1840s for military or militia use. 32 - 3/4" barrel in .52 caliber, rifled, with offset front and rear sights. Breech block is marked "J.H. HALL / H.FERRY / U S / 1832". CONDITION: Very good, iron assemblies exhibiting an attractive polish with areas of freckling throughout. Breechblock is loose and has been refinished with torch colors. Stock is excellent with finish added and no major signs of distress. Bore shows crisp rifling and darkness in the grooves.
