Made by Iver Johnson Arms and Cycle Works circa 1930. 26" blued fluid steel barrels with raised matted rib, ejectors, and bead front sight. Barrels are choked Full and Full with 3" chambers. Case hardened finish boxlock action with "HERCULES" model designation and Iver Johson address markings with automatic safety, double triggers, and blued trigger guard. Checkered walnut English grip stock with hard rubber buttplate and matching checkered splinter forearm with latch release. Comes in period canvas case with 3-piece wooden cleaning rod. CONDITION: Overall 90% original factory barrel finish with areas worn to plum brown from handling. 80% vivid case colors with sharp markings. Good wood with 80% remaining original finish, some scrapes and scratches from usage. Good mechanics with tight lock up and lever way to right. Mirror bores. Case in poor condition with leather cracked. A very desirable shotgun.
