Bronze depicts a Prussian artilleryman from the 1864 Danish-Prussian War, with a Pickelhaube, uniform, and equipment from that era. Measures approximately 20" tall with Bronze measuring approximately 12 - 1/2" and wood base measuring approximately 7 - 1/2". Wood base features shield shaped silver escutcheon with presentation to a Prussian major. Base of bronze features a banner that reads "seneral Feldzeugmeister 7.12.1864". The bronze is quite attractive and displays well. There are a few obvious cracks in the wood base but remains sturdy. Patina to the escutcheon but still legible. Appears to have been lacquered with clear remnants of finish. CONDITION: Good.
