Originally made by Parker Gun Company in 1930, with a factory letter stating it was completed in 1936. Parker Serialization book lists this gun with 28" barrels with ejector and wide forearm options. 1 of 7 known to have been made in 20 gauge with this barrel length. This fine shotgun features blued factory 28" Acme fluid steel barrels with "Acme Steel" rib roll die mark on Parker Addressed matted rib, ejectors, and bead sights with border breech engraving. Barrels are choked Improved Modified and Cylinder, chambers measure 2 - 1/2". Case hardened finish 0 size frame boxlock action with standard CHE grade full coverage floral engraving with pointing dogs on side panels and a woodcock on bottom. Automatic safety and factory double triggers with blued floral engraved trigger guard with serial number. Border checkered walnut pistol grip stock with checkered side panels and carved panel border diamond tails in CH grade style with period Hawkins rubber recoil pad, Parker logo pistol grip cap, and matching checkered factory trap model forend beavertail forearm with latch release. Comes with a Parker Factory letter confirming options except the recoil pad. CONDITION: Overall 95% original barrel finish with insignificant handling mark, barrels have slight case wear. One small finish blemish on the left barrel halfway out. 60% fading case colors with sharp markings with the receiver starting to silver in carry areas and some browning. Good wood with 90% original finish, with small handling marks and slightly dulled checkering. Good mechanics with tight lock up and lever way to the right with in time but turned screws. Mirror bores A very eye-catching shotgun with rare specifications.
