Originally made by Parker Gun Company in 1932. The Parker Serialization book lists this gun with 26" barrels, ejector, and wide forearm options. 1 of 199 known to have been made in 16 gauge with this barrel length. This fine shotgun features factory 26" Titanic blued fluid steel barrels with "Titanic Steel" rib roll die mark on Parker addressed matted rib, ejectors, and bead sights with border breech engraving. Barrels are choked Improved Cylinder and Improved Cylinder, chambers measure 2 - 9/16". Case hardened finish No. 1 sized frame with standard DHE grade full coverage floral engraving with pointing dogs on side panels and game birds in flight on bottom. Non-automatic safety, factory single selective trigger, and blued floral engraved trigger guard with serial number. Border checkered walnut pistol grip stock with carved panel border diamond tails in DH Grade style, Parker skeleton steel butt, Parker logo pistol grip cap, silver oval vanity plate, and matching factory checkered beavertail forearm with latch release. Comes in period Abercrombie and Fitch leather fitted case with snap caps. CONDITION: Overall, 95% of old reblackened barrel finish with slight handling marks, barrels have slight case wear and original engine turning on breech faces. Receiver with 60% fading case colors with sharp markings, starting to silver in carry areas. Opening lever has been recased; trigger guard appears to have been touched up slightly. Good wood with 90% original finish with small handling marks and sharp refreshed checkering with some usage dents. Good mechanics with tight lock up and lever way to right; screws are in time but have been turned. Mirror bores. Case in excellent condition. A very eye-catching shotgun with rare specifications.
