This is a very unusual cylinder music box by an unknown maker. Housed in a mahogany cabinet with mixed woods inlay, this music box operates on a large 16 - 3/4" x 5 - 1/4" diameter "FAT" cylinder, seldom seen, with what appears to be six tunes. The working clock is attached to the operating mechanism and triggers the music box to play on the hour. The music box is operative, and the linkage to the operating lever is complete and working, though needing some attention after moving the instrument. CONDITION: Excellent, with light surface scratches and few scuffs in the finish. A very rare and unusual music box ready for a new collection.
