AGS CERTIFIED #11265. DSP. An uncommon version of this double sided porcelain sign from Penn-O-Lene Gasoline featuring a nice eagle graphic in the center. CONDITION: Side 1 shows good color in the field, with surface scratching and rubbing throughout graphic and outer field. There are a handful of porcelain chips scattered around the field as well. The mounting holes show heavier porcelain loss, as well as, the outer edges in general show wear and minor porcelain loss (Score 81). Side 2 shows discoloration in the field, the worst of which can be seen in the cobalt blue areas of the sign. The field also shows a fair amount of surface abrasions and wear throughout. There are porcelain chips in the field as well. The mounting holes and outer edges of the sign show chipping and oxidation (Score 75). Despite the condition issues on this sign, it is still an uncommon piece that is not seen often.
