AGS CERTIFIED #11274. DSP. Maker Marked "Reliance." A rare and desirable example of this double sided porcelain sign from Pan-Am Motor Oil featuring the iconic "Dough Boy" graphic with nice color throughout. CONDITION: Side 1 retains a very clean field with nice color and shine. There are two small porcelain chips in the bottom right of graphic, as well as, some light scuffs and areas of discoloration in the outer field. The outer edges show porcelain loss and oxidation, which is nicely concealed by the new hanging ring (Score 88). Side 2 has a larger porcelain chip in the center field, and some slight discoloration in the white sections of the outer field. The outer edges show porcelain chipping and oxidation throughout (Score 83). The sign comes with a nicely made steel bracket painted red and ready to hang. A rare sign with excellent subject matter.
