DSP. A nice example of this large double sided porcelain sign from Amoco featuring the iconic company lettering with nice color. CONDITION: Side 1 shows nice gloss and color, with some slight discoloration most visible in the white sections of the lettering. There are a few porcelain chips in the field as well. The outer field and edges of the sign show wear and porcelain chipping. The mounting holes are still in tact but show oxidation and wear (Score 84). Side 2 shows significant discoloration and wear. The field of the sign shows heavy fading and color loss to the lettering, the worst of which is on the left half of the sign. There are also surface scratches scuffs throughout. The outer edges show porcelain chipping and the mounting holes are similarly rough Score 68). A large and impressive sign.
