Of standard configuration. Breech stamped "US / MODEL / 1884" and lock marked with eagle and "U.S. / SPRINGFIELD". Walnut stock stamped "204" on top of buttstock in front of buttplate tang and with "S.W.P. / 1888" cartouche opposite lock. CONDITION: Shows use throughout with all metal components showing a mostly brown patina. Action functions well; good bore. Barrel tang and hammer screws missing. Stock shows scattered dings and marks.
