This lot is of Frederick Remington’s Wooly Chaps, which depicts a horse with two of his four legs off the ground. The rider dons wooly chaps and a cowboy hat. One of the rider’s hands is griped on the horse’s mane and one end of a lasso. His other hand is outstretched behind his body, gripping what should be the other end of the lasso if it was present in this statue. The bronze is situated on top of a piece of rectangular marble. Measures approximately 23" tall, 21" wide, and 12" deep. CONDITION: Good.
