This lot is of Frederick Remington's "Outlaw" bronze. Depicted in this bronze is a horse attempting to get its rider off of his back. The horse's hind legs are up, leaving his front two on the ground. The rider holds onto the reigns and the saddle tightly. The horse is tinted to a light brown coloring and is detailed in its casting, as one can see the pupils of the horse and the hairs in his mane. The bronze is situated on a rectangular piece of marble with a gold color plaque. On the base of the bronze, Frederick Remington's name is engraved with gold lettering. Measures approximately 27" tall, 18 " wide, and 10" deep. CONDITION: Very good to excellent.
