DSP. Maker Marked "Wolverine Porcelain. Detroit." A desirable example of this double sided porcelain sign from Power-lube featuring the colorful tiger graphic with nice gloss and shelving. CONDITION: Side 1 has nice shine and color, with some surface scratches spread throughout the field. There are some wear patterns and dullness to the gloss. Eleven of the twelve mounting holes retain their original brass grommets. The outer edges and areas surrounding the mounting holes show porcelain chipping and loss (Score 86). Side 2 has nice color and shine in the field with some surface abrasions spread around. There is wear and discoloration in various areas of the gloss. The outer edges have wear and porcelain loss. There is one spot of spider webbing in the tiger graphic (Score 84). The sign comes with a nicely made steel bracket. A desirable and well-displaying piece of advertising.
