DST. Maker Marked "A-M 1-58." This C. 1950's double sided tin sign from Pennzoil features the liberty bell graphic in the background with excellent color and gloss throughout. CONDITION: Side 1 has excellent gloss and color, with only minor surface scratching in the center field. There is what appears to be light staining from original packaging paper to the bottom left edge, but this is hardly visible from a distance (9.0). Side 2 remains similarly nice with fabulous gloss and color throughout the field. The center field has some light surface scratching. The most notable damage is to the left bottom center edge of the sign where there is minor paint loss and areas of crazing to the paint. The two mounting holes retain their original grommets. A nice example of this likely unused sign from Pennzoil (8.5).
