Made in Suhl prior to 1945. 8x57 rifle under twin 16 gauge Nitro proofed, blue finish, loaded with proof marks and fitted with four sight leaves mounted to rib. The scalloped boxlock frame features heavy German engraving with double triggers, sidelock selector switch, and top tang safety. Also features a horn trigger guard, black composite butt plate, checkered pistol grip stock with cap and splinter forearm. CONDITION: Fine. Barrels retains 90% dulling blue. The butt plate on the stock is replacement. Stock itself has soft checkering and some added finish along with a couple of closed hairline at wrist. Forearm has been sanded, soft checkering and no finish. Frame colors have faded to dark grey patina. Bores are clean.
