Shipped March 9, 1911 to Norvell Shapleigh Hardware Co. in St. Louis, Missouri, in a shipment of 1 gun. Originally shipped in this configuration except for finish and grips. Finish is listed as being originally blue, and grips are listed as "Not Listed", which means more than likely rubber for this vintage of SAA. Factory engraved with scroll on a punchdot background with accenting wrigglework on top of receiver, backstrap, and ejector rod housing. Loading gate and top of backstrap are engraved with sunbursts. Fit with a pair of Mother of Pearl Grips. CONDITION: Very good, with a vast majority of the added nickel finish remaining with scattered light oxidation and handling marks. Grips are excellent with no major signs of distress. Action is tight and crisp. Bore is frosted with light oxidation and crisp rifling.
