SST. Embossed Tin License Plate used at Los Alamos during World War Two for The Manhattan Project. Included with with license plate are photographs of the machine laboratories at Los Alamos, showing "Los Alamos Photo Laboratory" on the backside. Also included with the plate are photographs of Gus Schultz, the Forman of the drafting room and machine shop at Los Alamos during the Manhattan Project. CONDITION: Plate is overall very good showing average wear with fair color. Plate shows surface scratching as well as areas of paint loss at the raised lettering. Mounting holes are in fair condition showing light wear and scratching and overall the piece displays very well.
