DSP. Maker mark "Melke-Veribrite Signs." C. 1920s Aetna Coast to Coast Insurance Service double-sided porcelain flange sign. CONDITION: Side 1, has good color and gloss, with significant surface scratching throughout the face of the piece. Sign has other areas of minor staining in the field, as well as very minor porcelain loss on the outer edge and on the flange section. (8.9). Side 2, has good color and gloss, with much less surface scratching in the field than the previous side. Sign has very minor areas of crazing and porcelain loss on the outer edge, as well as some more significant surface scratches across the top edge of the piece. (9.0). Overall, an outstanding displaying insurance sign, highlighted by its outstanding color and gloss.
