DST. An early and rare example of this double sided tin sign from The Automobile Club of Maryland featuring a nice mounting bracket and wonderful patina. CONDITION: Side 1 shows wear in the field with some surface scratching and areas of paint loss. The outer edges of the sign also show paint loss and wear with some areas of heavy oxidation (Score 84). Side 2 shows heavier areas of paint loss in the outer field and edges. The center field shows paint chipping and loss with some slight discoloration as well. The outer edges of the sign show oxidation and paint loss throughout (Score 80). This sign comes with a nice steel mounting bracket that shows heavy oxidation, but is nonetheless ready to hang.
