Lot consists of (A) Silver naval dirk with tapered diamond section blade, faceted pillow pommel, ivory handle, and silver scabbard. CONDITION: Very good, ivory retains a pleasing honey patina, silver polished, some minor dents to scabbard, blade retains a light grey patina. (B) Silver hilted dirk with knight's head pommel. Diamond section blade decorated with etched panels. Solid silver handle and scabbard. CONDITION: Blade grey, some minor denting on scabbard. Hanging stud is missing. (C) Silver mounted pillow-pommel dirk with ivory grip and tapered double-edged diamond-section blade. Silver scabbard. CONDITION: Fair, handle has cracked in two and is period-repaired with 2 silver pins on each side. Silver retains a dark patina and blade edges have been sharpened. (D) Same as C) but slightly smaller. CONDITION: Good with some damage to scabbard tip. Blade retains a grey patina, ivory has a pleasing dark honey patina with minor hairline age cracks.
