Scarce and well displaying C. 1920's One Gallon Can for Johnson Motor Oils showing an early Car graphic as well as the iconic "Time Tells" winged hourglass graphic. A product of Johnson Oil Refining Company, Chicago Heights, Illinois. CONDITION: Can is overall fair showing very good color with well displaying graphics and unique script. Can shows some moderate surface scratching as well as some minimal areas of denting at the outer field and edges. Can shows some moderate rim wear but displays well on each side and retains its original lid, spout and carrying handle. A very scarce piece of early Johnson advertising.
