AGS CERTIFIED #11194. SSP. Well displaying C. 1930's Porcelain Service Station Sign for Richlube Motor Oils showing excellent Richfield shield with Race Car graphic. A product of Richfield Oil Company of New York. CONDITION: Side one is bright and glossy showing excellent colors with a chip free field showing minor surface scratching present. Side one shows minor chipping at the mounting holes as well as minor wear at the edge, (Score 90). Side two also shows excellent color & gloss throughout with three areas of light chipping in the field. Side two also shows minor chipping at each mounting hole with light edge wear present, (Score 88). Sign is set in an ornate iron ring with flange bracket that displays the piece very well. An excellent displaying example of early Richfield Porcelain Signage.
