Manufactured 1936-1950. Twist tube fed, blue finish, ramp front sight, rear sight slot with filler, cartridge head embedded left side of frame, plain pistol grip walnut stock, grooved forearm. Takedown. Sports a Weaver K 4 scope with standard cross hair reticle and clear optics. CONDITION. Excellent. Retains 85% blue on frame with some freckling & thinning. Barrel is 90% starting to plum at breech. Bore is bright. This combination rifle, scope, and caliber is one of the best deep woods weapons ever built.
