Standard 50 caliber single shot Rolling Block action Navy features a round barrel stamped JMBC (John Clitz) with Navy anchor at breech. Left side of frame stamped with patent dates ending 1866. Right side of frame stamped with P and FCW (Frank C Warner). Walnut one piece grip has cartouche that is legible but not totally readable. Matching walnut forearm. CONDITION. Very good. Case color frame faded to dull grey with strong legends. Barrel HAS 90% blue brown smooth patina. Grips very good with scattered abrasions. Forearm also has numerous dings. Action works correctly. Bore is bright.
