Lot consists of: (A) SERIAL 52512. Series IV. Matching numbers but cannot read cylinder due to pitting. Features octagon barrel, five shot, single action, plated brass straps, one piece varnished walnut grips. CONDITION: Good. Straps retain 50% plating. No other original finish, overall pitting, some severe as to make cylinder legends illegible and barrel address partially illegible. Cylinder indexes but there is no loading half cock. Grips revarnished with chip at toe. Bore is rough. (B) SERIAL 30084. Series III. Same features as above. Wedge number does not match and no visible number on cylinder. CONDITION: Very Good. 40-50% plating on straps, strong cylinder roll die vignettes but inside images faint. Balance of metal a smooth clean patina with sharp barrel legends. Excellent grips with majority of varnish with usual impressions Action works correctly with good half cock. Bore is defined but dark. Pair comes in repurposed antique wood box with two matching unmarked flasks, a Manhattan marked bullet mold, two cap tins and a James Barber antique pocket knife.
