Maker marked "Burk & McFetridge Phil'a." A c. 11890s "Hires Improved Root Beer / A Delicious Beverage / Try It" paper lithograph with added wood frame. CONDITION: The piece has significant wear throughout both the inner and outer field, as well as along the outer edges. The sign has multiple creases, as well as three vertical fold lines running from top to bottom. The color and the graphics are still strong, added in display by the added wood frame.
