A nice example of this early syrup dispenser barrel from Hires Root Beer, featuring brass bands and an ornate spigot dispenser. CONDITION: It appears at some point in the past, this has been completely refurbished. The brass elements have a high-polish finish to them. The oval Hires signs appears to have been repainted black at some point in the lettering. This spigot is complete. This piece also comes with the three bare feet legs as well as the original lid. An excellent displaying and seldom seen example.
