Factory records indicate the serial number was applied to this rifle April 9th, 1907, and it shipped complete from the warehouse on September 20th of the same year. Fitted with a desirable blued half octagon barrel chambered in .32-40 WCF with sporting sights. Tang mounted with an additional folding rear aperture sight. Polished blue solid frame with case hardened lever and hammer. Factory half length button magazine. 2-piece plain walnut stocks with crescent rifle butt plate. Included factory research confirms special order options. CONDITION: Very good. Rifle retains the vast majority of its factory blued finishes with areas of thinning, toning, and some cleaned oxidation spots. Approximately 60% nitre blue on loading gate. Lever and hammer also display significant portions of their faded case colors, the balance faded to brown patina. Stocks have some abrasions and heavy handling marks with significant portions of original finish. Very good, bright bore. Fine mechanics. A nice, honest, documented special order '94.
