Receiver originally manufactured by Springfield circa June 1944. Full parkerized finish. Springfield barrel dated "10-52" with drawing number covered by the handguard, as is appropriate for early example made before November 1952. Barrel is threaded onto the correct M1D scope mounting block which sports a correct M84 scope serial numbered 27927 with rubber eye cup and original 1956 inspection tag. Protected blade front sight and later style "DRC" marked rear aperture. "W.R.A" marked bolt. Cut Springfield op rod. Mixed trigger group parts. Standard walnut military stocks with "MRT / 1 52" stamped leather cheekpiece. Complete with a green woven sling, M2 flash hider, cleaning tools, and shipping box from the Anniston Depot. CONDITION: Near excellent. Arsenal finishes show only mild wear. Stocks likewise have scattered impressions. Very good bright bore with sharp rifling. ME of 1. TE of 2. Fine mechanics. Optic has some clouding and is in need of cleaning. Accessories rate good to excellent, some tools remain new old stock. Box shows wear.
