1967-73 J.P. Sauer action featuring a ramp front sight, folding leaf rear sight, jeweled bolt and follower, and checkered bolt handle. The Camilla Deluxe checkered Claro walnut stock features the distinctive Weatherby Monte Carlo comb, rosewood outline diamonds on both sides of stock, rosewood forend tip, rosewood grip cap with diamond, Weatherby waffle recoil pad, blue finish, and gold sling eyes. Floorplate and trigger guard are scroll and punch dot engraved with a gold inlaid grizzly. Scope receiver holes do not have filler screws. Gold wash legends on barrel and frame. CONDITION: Excellent. 98% high polish blue on barrel with a few age freckles near breech and some minor handling. Balance of metal finish with just light handling. Stock shows minor handling. Bore is bright. Handsome deluxe German Weatherby rifle.
