Manufactured in classic configuration throughout for use by the US military and militias during the mid-1830s-1840s. Breech is marked with "U.S. / JA / P". Left flat of stock opposite lock has had cartouches cleaned away. Iron components have been carefully re-polished to National Armory Bright. Lock shows traces of case color. CONDITION: Excellent. Mechanically fine. Bore shows some moderate abrasion throughout.
