The rifled octagon barrel is signed "G. Schreyer" in script. The lock is unmarked. Brass furniture includes a four-piece edelweiss patchbox originally from a Schreyer rifle. The other hardware appears to be handmade and is un-engraved and somewhat crude. Tiger maple stock. Ramrod is a replacement. CONDITION: Barrel has a mostly brown patina, lock reconverted. Brass has a mustard patina. Stock shows scattered cracks and a few chips missing.
