Built on the Martini style action. Left side of frame is marked "SYSTEM STAHL C.H.W. FRIEBE MUHLHAUSENTH". Right side marked "Patent No 1505". Caliber marked 7.7mm under the octagon barrel. All metal surfaces have been reblued. There is silver inlay and light engraving on barrel breech, chamber and both sides of frame. The stock is a rakish Schutzen style with heavy brass butt plate and matching forearm. Gun features double set triggers, a hooded globe style front sight and a lolipop style adjustable target tang sight. CONDITION: Retains majority of reapplied blue finish. There is a repaired crack on left side of forearm. Stock is fine as revarnished. Bore is strong but frosted. Triggers work.
