Circa 1977 per serial number. Classic 4" configuration of Colt's Snake gun, with vent rib barrel with serrated ramp front sight with yellow paint added to enhance visibility, adjustable square notch rear sight, and standard Colt legends. Short grips with checkered panels. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining virtually all of the factory bluing with some minor handling marks and thinning to sharpest edges, with some distension about the proofs from application of stamp. Mechanically fine, bore is very good with strong, bright rifling with some firing residue towards muzzle.
