Long term storage barrel for the M-1 and M-2 Carbine. These drums held 10 carbines with magazines, slings and oilers in dry, unpressurized air. Painted OD green with yellow lettering and ordnance bomb. Measures 38" tall. Nice paint with a few blemishes from storage. This example is featured on page 1283 of War Baby III" by Larry L. Ruth. CONDITION: Very good. PROVENANCE: The Larry Ruth Collection.
