Elongated rounded and scalloped boxlock actions transition into removable two-stage round barrels with turned cannon muzzles. One action and barrel both numbered "1" on bottoms. Both actions show private London proof and view marks. Right sides of actions engraved with floral motifs and panoplies of arms followed by the engraved name "Kirke Warsop". Opposite sides engraved with scrolls and arms motifs. Swan neck cocks and sliding tang safeties that lock the cocks in place when in full cock position. Walnut grips with silver grotesque mask pommel caps and silver wrist escutcheons with relief arms motifs. Silver wire scroll inlays surround barrel tangs. CONDITION: Barrels and actions polished bright, engraving is crisp, proofs worn from polishing. Both barrels still removable. Actions very crisp and function properly. Silver mounts polished. Some minor losses to silver inlay on one pistols. Some shrinkage to grips, minor scattered marks from use and small chips. A very nice large pair.
