Circa 1968 per serial number; silver nitrate test is negative for salt. Barrels with wide vent rib with Bradley style white plastic front sight and white plastic mid sight with crosshatch matting. Typical legends for a Belgian manufactured Superposed with a 2 - 3/4" chamber. Wide Browning sliding forearm with recesses, checkered in a point pattern about the checkered Deely latch release. Chambers with matching serial number and Browning "**$" choke codes for Skeet in both barrels. Classic Diana Grade engraving signed by Jules Lewanczyk on both sides, and of a better quality than typically encountered on Brownings. Nicely fiddlebacked and quartered grain walnut stock configuration is a square knob short tang wbuilt with sidepanels, and point pattern checkering about the wrist. Classic gold washed trigger with non-automatic safety with "S" inlaid in gold ahead of slide, "O" and "U" abutting for barrel selector positions. Vacant oval at toe line, and finishes by a Browning branded waffle pad. Housed in a classic tan Browning case and accompanied by the very rare Browning SUper Tube set, which has 20, 28, and 410 sub tubes with accompanying ejectors and tools. CONDITION: Excellent, very close to NOS or equivalent with some very minor handling marks and superficial scratches and rubs, most offensive where forearm reciprocates against bottom barrel. Stock excellent. Mechanically fine, ejectors somewhat soft but in time, bores excellent with some minor striations form firing towards chambers. Accessories fine, case closer to very good with some heavier handling marks and deeper scuffs. A great example ready for a variety of applications.
